Welcome to ĒDUCŌ ACADEMY — Our barbering program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in precision cutting, contemporary barbering techniques, business ethics, and professional knowledge. Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about our 1,000-hour program.

GENERAL

  • ĒDUCŌ ACADEMY is a barber school offering a 1,000-hour curriculum focused on precision cutting and contemporary barbering techniques. Our goal is to help students develop the skills, business ethics, and professional.

  • Yes, we are a barber college acknowledged by the Bureau of Post Primary Education as well as the State Board of California. Our program is designed to meet the standards required for state licensing in barbering.

PROGRAM

  • We offer a 1,000-hour Barbering Program that includes hands-on training in precision cutting and contemporary barbering techniques, as well as instruction in business practices and professional development.

  • The program can be completed within:

    • 6–7 months for full-time students

    • 1 year for part-time students

  • Full-Time Program: Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM 

    (Saturday work-from-home assignments)

    • Part-Time Program: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM 

    (Saturday work-from-home assignments)

  • The program covers:

    • Precision haircutting and styling techniques

    • Contemporary barbering methods

    • Beard grooming and shaving

    • Sanitation and safety practices

    • Business ethics and customer service skills

    • State laws and regulations for barbers

ADMISSIONS

  • Enrolling is easy! You can apply online via our website or visit our campus to complete your application. Our admissions team will guide you through the process. Contact us to book a discovery appointment to tour our new education facility and get you all the necessary information to start the first step of your barber education journey today.

  • Must be at least 17 years old

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

    • Valid government-issued ID

  • No prior experience is necessary. Our program is designed for beginners as well as those looking to enhance their skills.

COSTS/PAYMENTS

  • uition for the 1,000-hour program is [$20,000]. Please contact our office for detailed information about fees, grants, and payment options. We’ll be offering specials for our first students enrolled into the first rounds of our program. 

    **we’re currently offering an exclusive $5000 scholarship for our opening year— contact us for details.

  •  We do not currently offer federal financial aid. However, we provide flexible payment plans to make tuition more affordable. Contact us and we can discuss options on how to make this investment into your career path work for you.

LICENSING & CAREER

  • Yes, our program is designed to meet the requirements for state licensing in barbering and have you confidently ready to take your CA state board licensing exam

  • Graduates can pursue careers as barbers, educators, work in the hair industry, session stylists in the fashion industry, and/or even open their own barber shops.

  • We support our students in transitioning from students and into their profession by utilizing our network of barbershops, assist them with career advice, and portfolio building.

CLIENT SERVICES

  • Yes, our students provide services to the public under the supervision of licensed instructors. Services are offered at discounted rates.

  • Services include:

    • Haircuts

    • Beard trims

    • Shaves

STUDENT SUPPORT

  • We provide mentorship, career advice, and hands-on training to ensure students succeed in the program and beyond.
